Pastor Mike McSwiggan answered the call of God in his life to preach the Gospel in 1996. Since then he has prepared in a variety of ways including Bible College courses, preaching and teaching as well as serving in his local church in any way possible.
In 2011, God directed him and his family to Wasaga Beach when he answered the call to pastor Calvary Road Baptist Church. His wife Diane is a godly example to all who meet her, she loves people and is loved by those who know her. Diane among many other areas of service has taught in Christian School for 15 years and is a tremendous blessing to the ministries of the church. Pastor McSwiggan came with not only his wife, but also his four Children, Justine, Connor, Matthew and Kyle. Connor and his wife Rachel are living in the Wasaga Beach area, are serving in church and had their first child, Ava Grace, in August of 2016. Matthew recently returned from Bible college in South Africa where, along with his studies, he was busy preaching and doing mission work. He is now ministering here getting some practical training. Justine and her husband Sam are currently serving at Faithway Baptist Church in Ajax where Sam is youth pastor, they had their first child, Elianna Devine, in October 2016.

iggan has a vision for his ministry and is looking forward to what God has for the Wasaga Beach and Collingwood area as his desire is to see the church grow both spiritually and numerically. His preaching is both dynamic and Bible based, you will certainly be fed under his preaching and teaching.
